Lago Tropical Italian Bistro
A taste of la dolce vita in Colombo.
Lago means lake in Italian — named for Lake Como, whose calm the room borrows. It sits on the ground floor of Colombo City Centre: Neapolitan pizza, fresh pasta, and the Italian classics, cooked with the same ingredients we import for every other kitchen on this site.

Our family legacy
One family, two countries, one table
Lago is the Ceccato family's own restaurant — the place where what we import stops being stock and becomes dinner. The same olive oil, the same Tipo 00, the same tomatoes that go out to hotels and restaurants across the island are the ones in this kitchen.
That is the whole argument of the business, served on a plate: quality ingredients, time-honoured recipes, and no distance between the two.

Ladies Night
An Italian aperitivo and two hours of free-flowing cocktails, wine and beer. Fridays, 6pm to 8pm.
LKR 5,000 per lady. Prices are subject to a 10% service charge and government VAT.
