Getting it to you

Do you deliver outside Colombo?
Yes — island-wide, typically two to three days.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum for retail. Trade accounts have volume pricing.
Can I collect my order?
Yes. Collection is free from our warehouse on Biyagama Road in Gonawala, Kelaniya, and from Ceccato Market on Galle Road.
How do frozen items travel?
Frozen lines leave us frozen and stay in the cold chain to your door. Put them straight into the freezer when they arrive — they are not meant to sit out.

Card, bank transfer, or cash on delivery within Colombo.
Are prices the same in the shop and online?
Yes. What you see here is what you pay at Ceccato Market. Trade accounts are priced separately by volume.

Do you supply restaurants?
We do. Open a trade account and we will price your list.
How do I open a trade account?
Fill in the form on the wholesale page. It is quicker than an email, and it asks us everything we need to price your list first time.
Can my shop stock Ceccato products?
Yes — we supply supermarkets, specialty retailers and modern trade partners across Sri Lanka. Start with the wholesale application.
The food

What we import, what we make, and how to keep it.
Where does the food come from?
Imported from Italy, or made here in Sri Lanka by us.
How do I tell the difference?
Every product says so on its own page, and the shop splits the two — Imported from Italy and Made in Sri Lanka.
Which products are frozen?
Frozen lines carry a blue snowflake mark on the product card and on the product page. Everything else is shelf stable.
How should I store the frozen products?
In the freezer at −18°C. Each frozen product page carries its own defrosting and cooking guidance — most go straight from frozen into the oven.

Where can I buy in person?
At Ceccato Market, 213 Galle Road, Colombo 00300. Our products are also carried by stockists around the island.
Do you have a restaurant?
Lago Tropical Italian Bistro, on the ground floor of Colombo City Centre. There is more about it here.
Can I book a table at Lago?
Bookings for Lago are taken on its own site.
